What is Sweet Society?
Sweet Society is a Northern Utah candy cart serving Swedish pick-and-mix: sour skulls, foam bananas, cola bottles and a couple dozen others. The cart travels in a vintage cream Piaggio Ape, which tends to get as many photos as the candy does.
We do weddings, birthdays, company events and markets, and we're happy to drive a ways.
Questions we get before booking
Does the Piaggio need to be able to drive to the spot?
Yes. The Ape needs a flat spot about 12 feet long and a path it can drive on: pavement, packed gravel or firm grass. If the venue can't fit it, book the Sweet package and we bring the cart on its own.
Is the candy gluten-free, vegan, or nut-free?
It varies by candy. We send the ingredient list for everything on the cart before your event so you can check allergens for your guests. Many pieces contain gelatin; several are vegan.
What happens if it rains?
The cart works under a tent, a porch or indoors. If the weather turns, we set the cart up under cover and park the Ape where guests can still see it.
How far in advance should I book?
Most weekends book a few weeks out, and spring and summer Saturdays go earliest. If your date is close, send the quote anyway and we'll tell you the same day.
